Marc Houtzager is a Dutch show jumping rider, known for his experience, consistency, and success at championship level. Introduced to horses at a young age, he developed through the Dutch system to become a key member of the Netherlands’ international show jumping team.
On the Longines Global Champions Tour, Houtzager has competed in CSI5* Grand Prix classes against some of the world’s top riders. Among the highlights of his career are his Olympic appearances for the Netherlands, including an individual top-ten finish in Beijing 2008 with Sterrehof’s Opium and a Team Silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games with Sterrehof’s Tamino.
