Harrie Smolders

Harrie Smolders is one of the most accomplished Dutch show jumpers on the international stage. From a very young age, he claimed multiple national titles in show jumping, dressage, and eventing, highlighting his exceptional all-round talent and foundation in equestrian sport.

Harrie is a key figure on the Longines Global Champions Tour. Smolders has established himself as one of the circuit’s most consistent performers. He has secured over 30 LGCT podium finishes, riding an exceptional string of top horses including Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Don VHP Z, and Monaco. His consistency and competitive excellence led to overall victories in the Longines Global Champions Tour seasons of 2017 and 2023, alongside a strong second-place finish in the 2018 season. During the 2025 season, Smolders won 3(!) LGCT Grand Prix's all with his longtime partner, Monaco.

With his experience, precision, and proven success on the LGCT circuit, he continues to be a dominant force in elite international show jumping.
