Ales was born into an equestrian family and started out at his family stables in Hořovice. Initially he started in Eventing, but later switched to pure showjumping.
Ales was a Young Rider European Champion, 5 times winner of the Czech Cup Jumping, multiple winner of the rider of the year, riding Cup and winner of numerous international Grand Prix and World Cup rounds, competed for Czech Republic at the World Games in Aachen, and has twice competed in the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas.
His riding career has been greatly influenced by his father Václav and Aleš counts collaboration with the German rider and trainer René Tebbelem as an important contribution to his sports career.
His dream is to participate in the Olympic Games.
