William Funnell

William Funnell is a British show jumping rider, known for his consistency, experience, and long-standing success at the highest level of the sport. Coming from a farming and hunting background in Kent, he developed his career from ponies on the family farm to becoming one of Britain’s most respected international competitors.

On the Longines Global Champions Tour, Funnell has competed in CSI5* Grand Prix classes since 2009, delivering multiple strong performances across the circuit. His career highlights include European Team Gold in 2013 and major Grand Prix victories such as Hickstead, showcasing his experience and reliability at elite level.
