Shane Sweetnam

Shane Sweetnam is an Irish show jumping rider, known for his determination, consistency, and success at the highest level of international sport. Beginning riding in Ireland at a young age, he developed into one of the country’s leading riders with strong performances in major Nations Cups and Grand Prix competitions around the world.

On the Longines Global Champions Tour, Sweetnam has achieved multiple CSI5* Grand Prix podium finishes, including 2nd place in London (2019) and Miami Beach (2022), both with Alejandro. His experience and competitive riding style have made him a respected presence on the Tour.
