McLain Ward

McLain Ward is an American show jumping rider, known for his experience, consistency, and long-standing success at the highest level of the sport. A multiple Olympic medalist, he has been one of the leading figures in international show jumping for decades, earning a reputation for precision and reliability under pressure.

On the Longines Global Champions Tour, Ward has achieved multiple CSI5* Grand Prix victories and podium finishes over the years, including a 2014 win in Antwerp with Rothchild and a 2007 victory in Palm Beach with Sapphire. He also finished 3rd in the 2022 Super Grand Prix of Prague with HH Azur.
