Jorge Matte Capdevila

Jorge Matte Capdevila is a Chilean show jumping rider, known for his determination, experience, and return to the international stage after time away from top-level sport. Having first appeared on the circuit in 2015, he quickly made an impression with solid performances and a competitive mindset.

On the Longines Global Champions Tour, Matte Capdevila has competed in CSI5* Grand Prix classes, representing Chile on some of the sport’s biggest stages, including Miami Beach. After stepping back for several years to focus on his family business, he has returned to international competition with renewed motivation and a strong ambition to perform at the highest level.
