Jack Whitaker is part of a real British showjumping dynasty. His father Michael Whitaker and his uncle John Whitaker have competed in equestrian jumping for Great Britain at the Olympic Games, with both winning a silver medal in the team event at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles. At least 10 of his cousins, and another uncle, Steven, have also competed at an elite level in jumping. Jack already has a number of medals tucked under his belt - two gold medals at the pony European Championships and Team Silver at the Junior European Championships.
