The home of the dazzling Cannes Film Festival and the super-yachts of the Port of Cannes hosts an incredible level of sport just steps from the world-famous La Croissette and the shimmering Mediterranean coastline.
Positioned close to the Mediterranean Port of Cannes and the super-yachts in the bay, the second of three French events of the Tour is a very special horse show in the heart of the French Riviera. The original ‘International Show Jumping of Cannes’ has been on the circuit since it was launched in 2006 and is one of the most historic events. Now a regular fixture on the LGCT calendar, the show has grown every year and welcomes thousands of visitors through its gates each summer.
Cannes, a resort town on the French Riviera, is famed for its international film festival. Its Boulevard de la Croisette, curving along the coast, is lined with sandy beaches, upmarket boutiques and palatial hotels. It’s also home to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, a modern building complete with red carpet and Allée des Étoiles – Cannes’ walk of fame. Drawn by the incredible level of sport on offer and the collection of international show jumping stars in attendance, visitors enjoy the ambience, glamour and nightlife of this famous city, home of course to the dazzling Cannes Film Festival.
The City of Stars, and just a stone's throw from the world-famous La Croisette, the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cannes event is a remarkable combination of glamour and top-class sport. Held under the glittering evening lights, the very best horses and riders in the world take centre stage at the first of the evening shows.
My vision is clear. Only the best for the best.
