PRE EVENT BRIEFING - Don't Miss The Longines Global Champions Tour of Rabat 2025

17–19 October | Stage 15 | Grand Théâtre de Rabat

The Longines Global Champions Tour returns to Morocco’s capital for the penultimate stage of the 2025 season. Under the golden Moroccan sun, the Grand Théâtre de Rabat will set the stage for three days of world-class show jumping as the world’s best riders battle for Championship points, podium finishes, and the penultimate Golden Ticket to the LGCT Super Grand Prix in Prague.

After last year’s hugely successful debut, Rabat once again shines as the home of 5* show jumping on the African continent – a spectacular fusion of sport, culture, and elegance.

Championship Pressure. Moroccan Magic.

With just one stop remaining before the Finals, every stride counts. While the 2025 Championship crown has already been claimed by Gilles Thomas, the race for the remaining podium places is wide open – and Rabat could prove decisive.

Among those fighting for vital points is Christian Kukuk (GER), who sits in third place overall and will be looking to consolidate his position after a season of sharp consistency. Fellow German stars Philipp Weishaupt, Marcus Ehning, and Christian Ahlmann bring a wealth of experience and precision, while Simon Delestre (FRA) and Andreas Schou (DEN) remain strong contenders looking to close their seasons on a high.

A world-class field completes the line-up: Scott Brash (GBR), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Ioli Mytilineou (GRE), Jérôme Guéry (BEL), Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER), Niels Bruynseels (BEL), Denis Lynch (IRL), Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE), Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP), Jack Whitaker (GBR), and the in-form Katharina Rhomberg (AUT).

Every round in Rabat promises high drama, high stakes, and high performance.
