An exciting joint victory in the CSI2* Martin Collins London Cup 1.25m saw Tony Pearson and Fatima Al Mulla share the top spot at Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The Longines Global Champions Tour of London is underway under the summer sunshine at the iconic Royal Hospital Chelsea.
The CSI2* Martin Collins London Cup 1.25m class delivered an exciting and unusual result, with the top spot shared between two riders.
Great Britain’s Tony Pearson, riding Wyoming 19, and the UAE’s Fatima Intan Yousuf Abdullah Al Mulla, aboard Nevada Quality Z, stopped the clock at an identical 33.77 seconds, securing an unusual joint first-place finish.
Third place went to Holly Samantha Cox of South Africa, who piloted Jinocentia Eickenrode to a swift 34.35 seconds, keeping the pressure on the leaders.
Speaking after his round, Pearson, who was born near the venue, said:
“It’s Great to be back - I’ve done a couple of years in London. I’m pretty superstitious, so I don’t like to change much and keep everything as normal. My horse performed really well today, feeling pretty pleased - job well done.”
Before heading off to her next class, 17-year-old Al Mulla, competing here at London for the first time, “I think it’s a really great venue.” She told us, Based in Dubai, Al Mulla was full of praise for her 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood: “He tries so hard - he’s just the best.”
