The 2026 Season Begins in Doha

The Longines Global Champions Tour returns to Doha from 04–07 March, marking the official start of the 2026 Global Champions calendar and the opening chapter of a new championship season.

As the first stop on the Tour, Doha is where momentum is created. The race for both the LGCT Individual Championship and the GCL Team Championship begins here, with early points and early pressure shaping the trajectory of the season ahead. A Stage Defined by History

Doha has long been synonymous with season-opening excellence. Over the years, the LGCT Doha winner’s list has featured many of the sport’s defining figures, including Scott Brash, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Ben Maher, Julien Epaillard, Daniel Deusser, and Ludger Beerbaum.

More recently, Abdel Said and Bonne Amie have stamped their authority on Doha with consecutive victories in 2024 and 2025, underlining the significance of starting the season strongly on this stage.
