The stage is set for one of the most thrilling weekends of the year as the Longines Global Champions Tour Finals return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 30 October - 1 November. With the 2025 Championship podium positions still on the line, anticipation is at fever pitch as 51 world-class riders from across the globe prepare to battle it out in the desert capital.

As the curtain closes on another spectacular LGCT season, the Riyadh Finals promise elite sport, drama, and emotion in equal measure - all under the floodlights of the King Abdullah Financial District. The world’s best will go head-to-head for championship glory, crucial ranking points, and a share of the remarkable prize purse exceeding €10.5 million for LGCT championship, GCL championship and LGCT Riyadh classes.

The Battle for the 2025 Title

The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Riyadh will determine who takes Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 2025 LGCT Championship, marking the culmination of a season that has spanned iconic cities including New York, Paris, Shanghai, Monaco, and Rome.

As Gilles Thomas has already been crowned the 2025 LGCT Champion of Champions it's the battle for the final podium positions that is still anyone's game. Among the star-studded line-up are some of the biggest names in show jumping, including Harrie Smolders, the ever-cool Dutchman who has already etched his name into LGCT history, last year’s championship runner-up Christian Kukuk, Mr Consistent Andreas Schou, flying Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten, Irishman Denis Lynch and two-time LGCT Champion Scott Brash.

They’ll be joined by Daniel Deusser, 2024 LGCT Champion Max Kuhner, two time LGCT Champion Edwina Tops-Alexander, Katrin Eckermann, and Janne Friederike Meyer Zimmermann - all previous LGCT Grand Prix winners and formidable contenders capable of turning the championship race on its head in the final leg.

As always, consistency, speed, and split-second precision will define who emerges victorious on the grand stage in Riyadh.

This year’s Finals will feature an exceptional line-up of global talent representing 20 nations.
Among the many stars confirmed to compete are: Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Pieter Devos (BEL), Simon Delestre (FRA), Abdel Said (EGY), Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli (SWE), John Whitaker (GBR), Nicola & Olivier Philippaerts (BEL),  Michael Pender (IRL), Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and many more.

Fans can also look forward to cheering on home favourites Abdullah Al-Sharbatly, Abdulrahman Al Rajhi, Ramzy Al-Duhami, and Khaled Al-Mobty, as they proudly represent Saudi Arabia on home soil in front of an electric local crowd.

The action in Riyadh will also determine which rider secures the final golden ticket to the GC Prague Playoffs next month, where the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix will bring the curtain down on another unforgettable season.
