Martin Fuchs Retires Three Time LGCT Grand Prix Winning Mount Chaplin

Martin Fuchs has today announced the retirement of Chaplin (Verdi TN x Concorde)  from the sport, and is set to join Team Nijhof for breeding.

After an illustrious career filled with glittering wins, highlighted by taking top podium position at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cascais/Estoril and Madrid in 2019, and the LGCT GP of Mexico City in 2017.  

Over his career, Chaplin jumped thirteen 5* Grand Prix's and placed in twelve of them. 

In announcing his retirement, Martin Fuchs of Switzerland said "[Chaplin] has the best character and qualities. Scope, careful, fast and a heart like a lion."

He went on to add: "Forever grateful to Luigi Baleri, to make this partnership possible, Sean Vard for traveling the world with this superstar, and whole Team Fuchs for their dedication throughout his career."

"Thank you my Chapi for the most amazing 7 years."
