Art Of Time: Season 2 of Brand New Content Series presented by Longines Launched Today

Following the success of last year’s Rising Above series, Longines and the Longines Global Champions Tour are proud to launch the next chapter of their signature content series. The new eight-part series, titled The Art of Time presented by Longines, explores the profound connection between horology and the artistry of modern show jumping.

Beginning today, the first three episodes are now live ahead of the GC Prague Playoffs, with the remaining films set to be released following the event. Through immersive storytelling and cinematic craft, the series offers viewers a deeper look at the values that unite Longines and the sport: precision, patience, harmony, and timeless dedication.

A New Season, A New Lens

While Season 1 centred on personal triumph and resilience, The Art of Time shifts its gaze to the foundations of mastery itself. From course designing to farriery, from photography to the intimate bond between horse and rider, each film examines the craft and intention behind excellence - drawing a striking parallel between the world of show jumping and the meticulous artistry of Longines watchmaking.

This season’s later chapters will delve into harmony, patience, heritage craft, bespoke tailoring, and finally a cinematic manifesto bringing all eight stories together in a powerful crescendo. From Max Kühner’s rhythm with his horses to the quiet craftsmanship of master farriers and tailors, The Art of Time reveals the many forms of artistry that define excellence in our sport.

Episode 4 – The Beauty of Motion
This opening episode captures the perfect harmony between horse and rider. Through Max Kühner, we witness the fluid rhythm of show jumping - where every muscle, breath, and heartbeat align. The narrative parallels this seamless unity with the intricate mechanics of a Longines timepiece, both moving in perfect synchrony. It’s a meditation on balance, precision, and the beauty of motion shared by athlete and watch alike.

Episode 5 – Built Over Time
Continuing Max Kühner’s story, this episode explores the patience and precision behind building greatness - whether training a young horse or crafting a watch. It follows Max’s gentle and deliberate process as he develops trust and skill with his horse, interwoven with imagery of watch assembly. Both crafts demand time, care, and devotion to progress - where every small adjustment contributes to long-term perfection.

Episode 5 – Crafted for Perfromance
This story delves into the world of the master farrier - a craftsman preserving centuries-old traditions. As molten metal takes shape under the hammer, the forge’s glow reflects the enduring artistry of those who create objects built to last. The parallels with watchmaking are striking: both embody strength, precision, and timeless beauty. The film celebrates permanence - the kind born from dedication passed down through generations.

Episode 7 – Timeless Style
A portrait of elegance in motion, this episode introduces a master tailor who crafts bespoke riding attire - garments that merge comfort, tradition, and style. Each stitch reflects individuality and refinement, echoing the timeless design of Longines watches. It’s a study in confidence and craftsmanship, showing that true style endures through detail and integrity.

Episode 8 – Manifesto
A cinematic crescendo that unites all the stories of the series - The Manifesto is a declaration of what defines timeless excellence. From the forge to the arena, from the atelier to the lens, every artisan and athlete shares one truth: that mastery is never accidental. Every stride, stitch, beat, and frame is driven by purpose. This is where craftsmanship meets character - and where time itself becomes art.
