Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida

Portuguese rider Rodrigo Almeida began riding at age seven, inspired by his father, who encouraged him to take up equestrian sport. Speaking of his passion for the sport, he said "I've always been in love with horses, nature and adrenaline. I put them all together and I couldn't have made a better decision because I found the right sport. I was lucky to always have parents who advised me."

He makes his debut on the GCL team circuit in 2021, riding for Hamburg Giants. For 2023 Rodrigo will take part of GCL with the Mexico Amigos - looking to make his name on this exceptional sqad.
