WORLD’S BEST MARCH ON TO LGCT RAMATUELLE/SAINT-TROPEZ

The most talented riders in the world head to sunny Saint-Tropez next week as the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) presses on from Madrid to picturesque Pampelonne Beach in Ramatuelle, France. The event, which is the third stop on the 16-leg tour will take place 27 - 29 May during the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show.

The three days of world class sport will also welcome spectators after confirmation from the French authorities. With safety the number one priority, the Longines Athina Onassis Horse show is ready to greet equine enthusiasts and showjumping fans as they relax and enjoy this one-a-kind venue on the French Riviera while adhering to the bio-security measures.

An exclusive spectator experience from start to finish, the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show provides a showcase for many of the globe’s most recognized riders as they compete to win an unprecedented prize money and coveted points toward the LGCT and GCL overall season championships. In addition to the action inside the ring, visitors will benefit from the beautiful scenery, dynamic shopping opportunities inside the village, and delicious food and ring-side refreshment. Re-imagined for 2021, the brand new Global Champions Lounge service will be open to the public, with delicious Italian cuisine and direct views of the main arena.

This year’s program will include six, top-level CSI 5* classes, including the prestigious LGCT Grand Prix of Saint-Tropez, and two rounds of the thrilling GCL team competition. In addition, a host of CSI 1* classes will feature throughout the day for riders of all ages. With more than €550,000 in total prize money on offer throughout the weekend, it is sure to be an event to remember.

Accompanied by expert commentary and analysis, all classes will be streamed live on GCTV, ensuring fans around the globe can make the most of the action while watching their favourite horses and riders compete.
