World number one, two and three set to compete at Longines Global Champions Tour of A Coruña

The Longines Global Champions Tour of A Coruña is set to witness a remarkable gathering of the world's top equestrians this weekend from 14 - 16 July. Taking place at the magnificent Casa Novas Equestrian Center, this thrilling competition will showcase the extraordinary talents of the best riders from around the globe.

Leading the pack of elite athletes are four out of five of the top-ranked riders in the world right now.

World Number 1: Henrik von Eckermann has secured the coveted top spot in the global rankings for many months now. Von Eckermann is a force to be reckoned with on any course like he showed in Stockholm where he collected his golden ticket to the LGCT Super Grand Prix.

World Number 2: Julien Epaillard's electrifying speed and agility have propelled him to the second position in the world rankings as well as winning two LGCT Grand Prix this season. After picking up the win in St Tropez and Monaco just a couple of weeks ago, can Julien make it three LGCT Grand Prix win’s this weekend in A Coruña?

World Number 3: Harrie Smolders has consistently proven himself to be a formidable contender in the world of show jumping and is working his way up the LGCT rankings after another second-place finish in the LGCT Grand Prix of Monaco. 

World Number 5: Maikel van der Vleuten's remarkable talent and tenacity have secured him a coveted spot among the world's top riders. Also leading the 2023 LGCT championship, this weekend will be crucial for the race to the top.
