Wilfrid Pierrot Triumphs in CSI2* Lamborghini Cannes Trophy Grand Prix 1.45m

It was a display of horsepower in the CSI2* Lamborghini Cannes Trophy Grand Prix 1.45m, the final 2* class of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Ramatuelle/St. Tropez. French rider Wilfrid Pierrot secured first place on home turf here in France. 

Wilfrid Pierrot took the top spot aboard Uncle Sam. The French rider piloted his 16 year old gelding through the challenging course to claim first place. Second place went to Hasan Senturk of Turkey. Senturk rode clear on his mount Avant Toi, earning second place. Brice Grugeon of France completed the top three. Grugeon came home on a clean sheet aboard Do It de Clamens to secure third.

Close behind was France’s Emma Bodier. She posted a clear first round but a rail in the jump off aboard Medoc de Muze meant a fourth place finish for the French rider. Rounding out the top five was Josefina Goess-Saurau of Austria aboard Ja Belle Stability. Despite a rail in the jump off, the Austrian rider was able to secure fifth place.

7th Place -                  Marion Trosset, Illi Nobili (FRA)

8th Place -                  Claire Beecroft, Kandora (GBR)

9th Place -                  Wilton Porter, Sternmarke 3 (USA)

10th Place -            Linda Bratomi, Quracao (ITA)
