Venue Spotlight: Pampelonne Beach

Next week, the Longines Global Champions Tour heads to the French Riviera. The sixth stop of the 2024 tour will be held in Ramatuelle/St. Tropez, on the legendary Pampelonne Beach.

Pampelonne Beach, located near the glamorous town of St. Tropez on the French Riviera, is one of the most iconic and sought-after destinations along the Mediterranean coast. Spanning approximately five kilometres, this pristine stretch of golden sand is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant atmosphere. The beach is lined with a mix of exclusive private beach clubs and more accessible public areas. Whether you're looking to lounge in luxurious cabanas, enjoy gourmet meals at seaside restaurants, or engage in various water sports, Pampelonne Beach has something for everyone, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and international travellers alike.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Pampelonne Beach gained widespread fame when it became a favourite haunt of celebrities such as Brigitte Bardot, who helped to cement the area as a symbol of chic, sun-drenched glamour. Today, it continues to attract a diverse crowd, from jet-setting elites to families and solo adventurers. The beach is also known for hosting events and parties, especially during the summer season, contributing to its reputation as a vibrant social hub. Despite its popularity, Pampelonne Beach has managed to maintain its natural beauty and charm, offering visitors a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement in one of the most picturesque settings on the French Riviera.

From May 30-June 1, the world’s top riders and horses will descend on Pampelonne Beach to vie for the top spot in the LGCT and GCL competitions. Join us as this iconic destination plays host to the thrilling sixth stop of the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour!
