The ponies were in the spotlight at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Stockholm for the CSI Pony SHW Young Talents 1.25m class. Veera Salminen claimed the top spot in the class, presented by Agria.
Veera Salminen of Finland delivered a flawless performance, coming home nearly two seconds faster than second place to take the win aboard Nero van de Bucxtale. Second place went to Sweden’s Ellen Hammarström. The Swedish rider posted a quick time riding Ocean des As but could not quite catch Salminen. Rounding out the top three was fellow Swedish rider Mathilda Hansson. Hansson rode quick and clean aboard her mount Helga Th.O. to claim third place.
Fourth place went to Victoria Jensen of Sweden aboard Inez. The Swedish came home clear to claim fourth. Completing the top five was Signe Ekengren of Sweden. She rode a fast round aboard Pat's Choice but an unfortunate four faults on course ultimately meant fifth place for Ekengren.
