The Longines Global Champions Tour returns to London from August 16 – 18, 2024 at the prestigious Royal Hospital Chelsea for the 12th leg of the 2024 tour. This event promises a weekend of the best of show jumping and nail-biting competition to the heart of the city.

Showcasing the top show jumping talent and traditional British equestrian customs, we invite you to witness history in the making and experience the best of British. World-class show jumping will take place on the South Grounds which lead down to the River Thames, with the breathtaking backdrop of the heritage buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren.

Saturday features the one-of-a-kind GCL team competition which promises an adrenaline-packed show jumping battle that will have spectators on the edge of their seats. Sunday will showcase the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London where the world’s top riders and horses will vie for glory as the first CSI5* after the summer break.

The best show jumping talent of Britain is always well represented in London. It is a special show for many of the riders who love the opportunity to jump in front of their home crowd. British show jumping legend John Whitaker said, “It is really special to jump in London with the crowd behind me and the incredible atmosphere.”

Family and friends are often out in full force to support the riders as they vie for victory on their home turf. “I love jumping in front of the home crowd in London, especially at such an iconic venue,” said Scott Brash, “to be competing there with your family and friends and owners watching is really special.”

One of Jack Whitaker’s favourite memories is watching his family, including Uncle John Whitaker, compete at the iconic competition, saying, “I’ve always enjoyed watching my father and my uncle compete there. It’s really cool with the whole family cheering them on creating a fun atmosphere. I'm excited to get back jumping in the center of London again this year! ”

 The LGCT of London is just as special for the fans too. Providing three days of world-class sport alongside unparalleled hospitality and entertainment, the LGCT of London showcases Britain at its best.

The Knights of Middle England, a professional team of talented actors, trick riders, stuntmen and performers, will be taking to the arena for a thrilling stunt display. This adrenaline-filled performance will leave you on the edge of your seat with an epic soundtrack and their beautiful specially trained horses.

British Agility will take to the arena as well. Witness the nation's top agility dogs as they navigate challenging obstacle courses with seamless coordination and jaw-dropping agility. From high-speed sprints to intricate manoeuvres, every moment is packed with excitement and skill, showcasing the peak of canine athleticism.

The sprawling shopping village features a host of iconic British brands. From specialized equestrian equipment to luxe lifestyle pieces, the shopping village offers something for everyone. And let’s not forget about the little ones! The village at LGCT London will feature a Kid’s Corner offering entertainment for even the youngest of fans.
