The Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series return to the vibrant city of Madrid from 21 - 23 May for the first European leg on the circuit. As a prestigious addition to the Championship calendar in 2013, Madrid is a globally significant capital which buzzes with sophistication and energy, with this event marking the second stop on the 2021 season calendar.

Madrid’s exclusive country club, the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, will host LGCT and GCL at its equestrian centre, where the best riders and horses in the world will compete in the stunning grass arena. The elegant Club de Campo Villa de Madrid is a well-known venue in the city and an important hub for those passionate about equestrianism.

With safety the number one priority, organisers continue to work closely with local and national authorities as well as the FEI governing body to ensure the event follows strict health protocols under the COVID-19 and EHV-1 regulations. A detailed list of the biosecurity measures in place will be available soon.

All the action will be streamed live on GCTV with expert commentary and analysis ensuring show jumping fans across the world can follow their favourite riders and horses throughout the event.
