The Countdown is on – GC Prague Playoffs 2022!

With just over a week until competition kicks off, all eyes are on the final show down which will see the best of the best compete in the Global Champions Prague Playoffs – home to the GCL Super Cup and LGCT Super Grand Prix – the culmination of 2022’s thrills and spills and last competition of the year. 

 Hosted in Prague, one of the world's most beautiful cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site and “the City of a hundred spires” the GC Prague Playoffs will take place over four days at the O2 arena with top-level sport and great entertainment for approximately 14,000 spectators. Taking place in the run up to Christmas when the fairy-tale city will have a special festive atmosphere where visitors can enjoy the contrast of Prague’s historic Baroque architecture, the famous Castle, cool modern neighbourhoods and art and design zones.

 Hailed as 'a milestone' for the sport by Ludger Beerbaum - the electrifying GC Prague Playoffs is a new sporting format coined by Global Champions in 2018, featuring powerful graphics, light and music shows and the goosebump raising 'Walk of Champions' all contributing to this event as the pinnacle of the sporting calendar.  

 With over €8 million to play for throughout this event, riders will be throwing caution to the wind and leaving it all on the line, resulting in a hair raising and thrilling weekend of show jumping that can not be missed. 

 Spectators around the world can tune in to GCTV and watch the Global Champions Prague Playoffs live, which kicks off on Thursday 17 November in Prague’s O2 Arena with the GCL Super Cup Quarter Finals.
