The 2024 Championship Race Intensifies Going into the Final Stretch of the Season

The Championship is heating up as riders and teams are eager to score maximum points in the LGCT and GCL Championship races. With the final to stages fast approaching before the LGCT and GCL Final in Rabat, the race is tighter than ever.

Austria’s Max Kühner has held onto the top spot of the LGCT Championship leaderboard. Following a series of podium finishes this season, Kühner remains in the lead with 234 points. Christian Kukuk has jumped into second place following a second place finish in the LGCT of London. The German star now sits on 209 points, within striking distance of the top spot. Andreas Schou of Denmark now sits in third place with 192 points, fending off the likes of Belgium’s Gilles Thomas and Maikel van der Vleuten of the Netherlands.

The Cannes Stars powered by Iron Dames have extended their incredible lead following a podium finish in the GCL of London. The powerhouse team sits in first place with 250 points. The Stockholm Hearts powered by H&M We Love Horses remain steady in second place with 228 points. The Doha Falcons have cemented their third place spot with 2011 points, holding off Resienbeck International powered by Kingsland Equestrian who sit just two points off the podium.

All eyes now turn to Valkenswaard for the thirteenth stage of the 2024 tour. Its promising to be an epic weekend of show jumping in the birthplace of the LGCT and GCL. Don’t miss any of the action as the riders battle it out for maximum points at the birthplace of the LGCT and GCL series.
