Spain’s Fernando de Los Santos Garcia Takes the Top Spot in the CSI1* 1.25m Trofeo Marca Class

It was another spectacular showing for Spain at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid in the second class of the day. The CSI1* Trofeo Marca saw an intense competition and victory for Spain here in Madrid.

Claiming first place was Fernando de Los Santos Garcia of Spain aboard Isba Caps. The pair put in two fast and flawless rounds to claim first place. In second place was Portugal’s Martim Portela De Morais riding Lolita Da Quinta Do Mouro. Their precise and quick performance earned them a well-deserved second place finish. Close behind was Spanish rider, Pedro Mateos Bernaldez, who skillfully piloted his mount Naroby van de Fruitkorf to secure third place.

Not far behind was Luis Lopes Rodrigues of Portugal aboard My Way whosecured fourth place with a smooth, quick round. Rounding out the top five was Spain’s Maria Varela de Leon riding Mar Rojo who showcased their skill for their home crowd.

6th Place -             Maria Gil Diaz, Chicetchoc d'Orival Z (ESP)

7th Place -             Stefano Nogara, Esi Everest (ITA)

8th Place -             Paula Nieto Carpio, Calanda (ESP)

9th Place -             Kathryn Fanshawe, Maestro van't Breezerhof (GBR)

10th Place -           Tess Carmichael, Bangle SR (GBR)
