Spain’s Alba Valle Espinedo Claims First Place in the CSI1* 1.25m Trofeo Mahou

Spain claimed another victory at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid. Alba Valle Espinedo narrowly edged out the competition to claim victory in the CSI1* 1.25m Trofeo Mahou class.

Alba Valle Espinedo of Spain claimed first place aboard the 11 year old stallion, Meriarta. The pair made quick work of the course, narrowly securing the top spot. Just 0.8 seconds behind her was Switzerland’s Charlotte Fievet. The Swiss rider put in a quick clear round with Erdeven du Tertre to earn a well-deserved second place. Hot on her heels was Hugo Vicente Marco. The Spanish rider claimed third aboard Indretto Dl Coco.

Fourth place went to Maria Varela de Leon of Spain. She swiftly navigated the course aboard Mar Rojo. Rounding out the top five was Carolina Villanueva Suarez riding Emotion de l'Extase. The pair posted a clear, quick round to secure fifth place.

7th Place -       Tess Carmichael, Bangle SR(GBR)

8th Place -       Soledad Maria Ansaldo Miranda, Barnum de Talma (ESP) 

9th Place -       Eduardo Netto De Almeida, Midcap (POR)            

10th Place -    Marcia Fernandez Martinez, Villenueve MR (ESP)
