Romain Potin Takes the Top Spot in CSI2* Two Phase 1.25m presented by Aurélie Bidermann

The competition is in full swing at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cannes. Romain Potin claimed victory in the CSI2* Two Phase 1.25m class presented by Aurélie Bidermann, securing another victory for France.

France’s Romain Potin took first place aboard his mount Brooklynn. Potin made quick work of the course in the second 2* class of day one, posting a score nearly three seconds faster than the next quickest rider. Martina Franco Stephan of Mexico claimed second place. The Mexican rider delivered a fast, clear round riding Ecuador de Beaufour but could not quie match the pace of Potin. Completing the top three was Belgium’s Boy-Adrian van Gelderen riding Electra Skr Z. Van Gelderen came home clean aboard the 8 year old bay mare to secure third place.

Hot on his heels was Olivier Bergonzi of France. Bergonzi rode clear on his mount D Day d'Argences to take fourth place. Rounding out the top five was fellow French rider Serge Varsano. Varsano rode smooth and clen aboard Mylo van Klapscheut to claim fifth place.

6th Place -             Eleonora Sanna, Amaretto Daisy (ITA)

7th Place -             Claudia Rothermere, DM Jacqmotte (GBR)

8th Place -             Laurent Calcus, Exotic des Flagues (FRA)

9th Place -             Chloe Calcus, Beleen Dream (FRA)

10th Place -       Christine Raaholt, Jaeger Ve (NOR)
