Peder Fredricson's H&M Christian K Retires

Peder Fredricson's H&M Christian K Retires

It is the end of an era as H&M Christian K retires from showjumping. The 17 year old bay KWPN gelding was ridden by Swedish rider Peder Fredricson.

The pair competed together on the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL for many years and enjoyed their share of successes.

In 2017, Fredricson and Christian K took part in no fewer than three LGCT jump offs with three double clears to their name. They earned their first LGCT podium finish together in Doha 2017.

In 2019 the pair won the GCL Super Cup Final together with the Shanghai Swans in the GCL Prague Playoffs. Together they jumped an impressive five out of six clear rounds, with only one rail all season. Fredricson and Christian K helped to secure three podiums for the Shanghai Swans in 2019.

In 2021, alongside H&M All In and Catch Me Not S, Fredricson and Christian K claimed the ultimate individual prize, securing victory in the LGCT Championships.

From the entire team at Global Champions, we wish H&M Christian K a very happy retirement, and pass our congratulations to the entire team of people involved with such a successful career.
