Pavleckova Shines as LGCT Vienna Gets Underway

The Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna lifted the lid on a weekend of world-class sport with the CSI1* 1.10m Table A, presented by HD EQUESTRIAN. Against the spectacular backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace, the very first class of the Austrian debut delivered a thrilling contest where speed and precision reigned supreme.

It was Czech rider Lucie Pavleckova who stole the spotlight, guiding Charlotte de la Votte Z to a lightning-fast clear in 33.62 seconds to secure victory and etch her name into the record books as the first winner of the weekend.

Hot on her heels, Isabella Beecroft-Luckett (GBR) and the talented Naldo K crossed the timers in 33.63 – just one hundredth of a second slower – to finish in second place. Local hopes soared as Laura Furtner (AUT) claimed third with Obora’s Arisha in 34.91 seconds, giving the home crowd plenty to cheer about.
