Over €22 Million Prize Purse Set for Final Two Longines Global Champions Tour & GCL 2025 Events

The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL season is heading towards an electrifying conclusion, with more than €22 million in total prize money to be awarded across the final two flagship events. As the world’s leading riders and teams prepare to take centre stage, anticipation is building for what promises to be one of the most competitive and high-stakes finales in the sport’s history.

From October 30 - 1 November, 2025, the vibrant city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will host the LGCT & GCL Finals, where over €10.5 million will be distributed across the LGCT of Riyadh and the overall LGCT & GCL Season Championships. The Finals will see the world’s best athletes deliver peak performance under pressure as titles, rankings, and substantial prize purses are decided in dramatic style.

The season will culminate one month later, from November 20–23, 2025, at the GC Prague Playoffs, where the sport’s most elite teams and individual champions will meet for the ultimate showdown. With a prize fund in excess of €11.4 million – including the iconic €10 million GCL Super Cup, the €1.25 million Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, alongside CSI5* and CSI2* action – Prague will once again provide a stage of intensity, prestige and world-class sport.

Jan Tops, Founder and President of the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL, said: “The prize fund for our season Finals and GC Playoffs showcases the extraordinary standard of competition we see in show jumping today. It is a recognition of the commitment, skill, and ambition that the riders, horses, and team owners bring to every stage of the journey. We are proud to reward those efforts and are looking forward to delivering a Finals and GC Playoffs that will be truly memorable for everyone involved - from the athletes to the fans around the world.”

The 2025 season has already delivered exceptional sport, global expansion, and growing fan engagement across continents. Now, attention turns to the final battle for podiums, legacy, and life-changing rewards. The margins will be razor-thin, and the atmosphere electric, as riders and teams compete for the sport’s most coveted honours.

With the global equestrian community watching closely, the Final and GC Playoffs will be unmissable moments in the international sporting calendar. The incredible prize purse and historic venues ensure that the 2025 season finale will be remembered for its drama, athleticism, and world-class sporting excellence.

With the 2026 calendar starting to be announced and the Doha (5-7 March 2026) and Shanghai (1-3 May 2026) dates confirmed yesterday, all eyes turn to what promises to be another milestone year for the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL – a season of continued growth, global reach, and spectacular top-level sport across the world’s most iconic cities.

My vision is clear. Only the best for the best.
