ONES TO WATCH: HOME CITY TEAM NEW YORK EMPIRE

Back in action this season and ready to do battle are the home city team, New York Empire and they’re looking for YOUR support here in New York! Look out for the red, black and white colours of the Empire team, featuring an all-star line-up with some of the hottest names in the sport of show jumping.

‘New York, New York’ and the impressive New York Empire team are pulling out all the stops for the 2022 GCL season. Headed up by team owner Georgina Bloomberg (USA), the formidable squad brings together Olympic Gold Medallist Scott Brash (GBR), Denis Lynch (IRL) and Spencer Smith (USA). They also inject some fresh talent with two U25 riders - Jodie Hall McAteer (GBR) and hugely successful Harry Charles (GBR) - this team is sure to be very competitive, with plenty of tactics at play to try to ensure their place at the top end of the leaderboard throughout the season.  Fast paced, forward thinking and always on the pulse, New York Empire are a power-packed squad, ready for total take over.

Cheer on the New York Empire as they fight to gain top honours on home turf, with the riders dazzling in their colourful team kit and theme music. See which riders will be fielded in which round, and which horses will be the star of the GCL New York as the riders join forces and take their penultimate chance at scoring maximum points in the 2022 season.
