Maxime Pierrot Wins on Home Turf in CSI2* Against the Clock 1.45m presented by GC Store

The competition is heating up at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cannes. Maxime Pierrot secured another win for France in the CSI2* Against the Clock 1.45m presented by GC Store.

Maxime Pierrot came home on a clean sheet to narrowly claim victory aboard Dynamic d'Allaire. When asked about his win, Pierrot said “I’m happy with this victory. Last year, I was second in the same class so it’s a kind of revenge for me.” He went on to mention, “Dynamic is my best horse. He always wants to do well but he’s also very sensitive so I didn’t know how he would react in the Cannes arena. Actually, he did very well. It gives me a lot of confidence before the Grand Prix tomorrow.”

Just 0.09 seconds behind was Enrique Gonzalez of Mexico aboard Origi van de Zeshoek. The Mexican rider posted a quick round with his ten year old bay gelding but could not quite catch Pierrot. Completing the top three was fellow Mexican rider, Martina Franco Stephan. Stephan delivered a quick, clear round aboard Douce Emeraude d'Or to take third place.

Close behind was Arnaud Fontenelle of France. Fontenelle came home clear with his mount Gim's des Fresnes to secure fourth place. Rounding out the top five was Belgium’s Boy-Adrian van Gelderen riding Jazzlyn WP. The Belgian rider posted a smooth, clean round to take fifth place.
