With the Longines Global Champions Tour of Rome kicking off in less than 3 days, final preparations are well underway. Taking place on the historic Circus Maximus in Italy’s capital city, anticipation is high as horses return to the battleground for just the third time in over 2,000 years.
2022 saw Christian Kukuk and his uber-consistent Mumbai, take the win of the coveted Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Rome, ultimately joining a long list of the world’s best who have come before.
In 2023, riders are again fighting for a golden ticket to the GC Prague Playoffs, where each individual winner will earn a place in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix - the ultimate face-off in November where the season’s winning riders will battle for the lion’s share of €1.25 million euros.
