Klebanova Delivers Home Win in CSI2* Grand Prix Institut Esthederm at LGCT Monaco

Monaco’s own Kristina Klebanova produced a sensational victory on home turf in the CSI2* Grand Prix Institut Esthederm, thrilling the crowd at Port Hercule on Day 3 of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco. Aboard the talented Diamanda 4, Klebanova stormed to the top of the leaderboard with a double clear, stopping the clock in 36.19 seconds in the jump-off.

The 9-year-old Oldenburg mare by Diarado showed exceptional scope and speed as she tackled the technical course, with Klebanova delivering under pressure in front of an enthusiastic home crowd. It was a career-defining moment for the rider, as she stood atop the podium in the glamour of Monte Carlo.

Second place went to Mohammed Khalifa A Al Baker of Qatar, who piloted the 10-year-old Hannah Zoe Quality to a stylish double clear in 37.67 seconds. The mare by Casall looked sharp throughout, helping Al Baker secure a deserved podium finish.

Joining them on the podium was Nicolo van der Westhuizen, also representing Monaco. Riding the 13-year-old grey mare Stawita PS, van der Westhuizen kept the pressure on in the jump-off with a clear round in 38.99 seconds, rounding out an impressive top three.

Just outside the jump-off results, three combinations posted quick times but incurred four faults in Round 1. Marie Eder Ferrero delivered the fastest of the four-faulters aboard O-Diamond in 60.56 seconds, while Boy-Adrian van Gelderen on Jazzlyn WP (61.36 sec) and George Whitaker on Peanut (61.39 sec) followed closely behind in fifth and sixth respectively.

As the Riviera sun set over Port Hercule, Klebanova’s win marked a memorable moment for Monaco in this prestigious two-star Grand Prix, further energising the electric atmosphere building ahead of the weekend's five-star finale.
