The Longines Global Champions Tour of Ramatuelle/St. Tropez has officially kicked off with the CSI2* Prix Ville de Ramatuelle 1.15m class. Jean Francis Simon of France claimed victory in the first class of the weekend.
Jean Francis Simon posted two flawless rounds aboard Figaro du Vouge to claim victory in Ramatuelle/St. Tropez. He expertly navigated the course aboard the nine year old stallion to take first place. In second place was Isabella Beecroft-Luckett riding Dahar. The German rider rode two clear rounds but could not quite match the pace of Simon. Rounding out the top three was Austria’s Victoria Bichler. Bichler came home on a clean sheet aboard Staubkind RZ to secure third place.
Hot on her heels was Eva Vittoria Lasagni of Italy riding Kadesther. The Italian rider delivered two clean, quick rounds to take fourth place. Completing the top five is Claudia Rothermere. Rothermere rode two clear rounds with her mount Charmeur to claim fifth place.
