In The Life of Niels Bruynseels

In an exclusive interview, Niels Bruynseels has confirmed to GCTV that he believes he is a top three contender for the overall LGCT 2021 Championship. After his stunning performance in Doha, Bruynseels credits his victory to extremely strong horsepower with the Belgium boasting four Grand Prix horses ready to shine this season.

The 37-year-old dominated in the first appearance of the season with a spectacular LGCT Grand Prix win, securing his golden ticket to the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix at the GC Prague Playoffs this November. Bruynseels welcomed GCTV into his home, offering a tour of his phenomenal stables in Belgium where he explained what he looks for in a 5* Grand Prix winning horse.

With no additional shows lined up, the Bruynseels family had plenty of time to fully enjoy his win in Doha while also getting to grips with the up and coming talent in his stable, especially an exciting 7 year old out Pius Schwizer's impressive mare Carolina.

Bruynseels describes Delux V&T as a strong minded youngster with whom he had to work extremely hard with to form a winning bond: "From the beginning, I always felt he was a special horse because of his character and quality. So we give them all the chances to be a champion."
