GCL Home Team: Hear the Prague Lions Roar

In their sixth GCL Season, the Prague Lions powered by Czech Equestrian Team have produced a solid season in one of the most competitive in GCL’s eight season history. Finishing in a respectable sixth place, the Prague Lions are heading into their home event, the GC Prague Playoffs full of fire and ready to climb up the ladder in the GCL Super Cup.

With a combination of seasoned competitors and new talent, the team have performed consistently throughout the season resulting in over €400,000 euros in prize money to their name.

Most notably, the Prague Lions finished on the podium in third place at the GCL of Riyadh, in what was a tightly fought competition with teams attending in full force in their attempt to gain the last vital Championship points in the final stage.

A second in Miami Beach, fifth in Doha, fourth in Ramatuelle / St. Tropez and fifth in Stockholm were all additional standout performances throughout the 2023 season. Having qualified for the GCL Super Cup Final round last year in Prague, the Lions are set to roar into their home show with the same goal in mind.  

With drama and emotion all season in the high stakes, the rivalry between teams has reached fever pitch where the GC Prague Playoffs will provide the perfect platform for the ultimate battle of the best as teams fight for a podium spot in the coveted GCL Super Cup.
