In their fifth GCL Season, the Prague Lions have had their best season result on record, finishing with a place on the podium in an impressive 3rd position, earning themselves a ticket straight into the GCL Super Cup Semi Final presented by Air Bank.
With a combination of seasoned competitors and new talent, the team have performed consistently throughout the season resulting in over €800,000 euros in prize money to their name.
Lifting the trophy from top podium position in an impressive three events throughout the season, the Prague Lions roared to victory in the GCL of Cannes, GCL of Ramatuelle / St Tropez, and most recently the GCL of New York City. As challengers to the top three standings throughout the season, the team are going into the GCL Super Cup powered by Air Bank as one of four favourites, having earned a coveted ticket into the ultimate final show down on home turf at the GC Prague Playoffs.
As anchors of the team, and cornerstones of the team’s success achieved in Cannes, Ramatuele/St Tropez, and New York City, crowd favourites and riders quickly becoming veterans of the podium, Pieter Devos and Niels Bruynseels are set to be joined by home grown hero Anna Kellernova in their bid for the lions share in over €4.5million in prize money on offer.
