Gregory Cottard Wins CSI5* Prix Lion of Porches 1.40m

It’s a home victory in the first 5* class of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Ramatuelle/St. Tropez. Gregory Cottard secured the win on his home turf in France in the CSI5* Prix Lion of Porches 1.40m class.

Gregory Cottard delivered two fast and flawless rounds aboard Gammelgaards Carola, narrowly edging out fellow French rider Olivier Robert for the top spot. Robert expertly piloted Iglesias D.V. through the course to secure second place. Jérôme Guery of Belgium rounded out the top three. Guery came home on a clean sheet to take third plave aboard Careca LS Elite.

Close behind was Germany’s Katrin Eckermann riding Chao Lee. Eckermann rode clean in both phases to secure fourth place. Completing the top five was Maikel van der Vleuten of the Netherlands. The Dutch rider and his mount O'bailey vh Brouwershof N.O.P. delivered two clear phases to take fifth place.

10th Place -       Thibeau Spits, Impress-K van 't Kattenheye Z (BEL)
