GCL Home Team Spotlight: The Monaco Aces powered by Lion of Porches

Get ready to cheer on the Monaco Aces powered by Lion of Porches as they battle it out for victory on their home turf in Monaco.

A part of the GCL since its inception in 2016, the team has enjoyed their share of podium finishes. They burst onto the scene in 2016 winning the GCL of Cannes, taking third in the GCL of Mexico City, claiming second on home turf in Monaco, and finishing on the podium in the overall GCL Championships that year. In 2018 and 2019, the team finished on the podium in Miami Beach and Mexico City, claimed second in the GCL of Monaco and the GCL Super Cup Final in Prague, and claimed the top spot in the 2019 GCL of Shanghai. Last year, the team claimed third place in the GCL Super Cup Quarter Finals in Prague.

Hailing from the luxurious principality of Monaco, the Monaco Aces powered by Lion of Porches, boast a lineup of talented riders including Gregory Cottard, Ines Joly, and Luiz Felipe Cortizo Gonçalves De Azevedo Filho. Riders Edward Levy, Celine Schoonbroodt de Azevedo, and young gun Mariana Frauches Chaves (U25) join the team following the Mid-Season Transfers.

With a strategic mix of seasoned veterans and fresh talent, the Monaco Aces powered by Lion of Porches are poised to climb the leaderboard in the second half of the 2024 season. Representing the team this weekend in Monaco will be Edward Levy, Gregory Cottard, and Ines Joly.
