3. All correct predictions for the GCL of London will enter a draw to win signed merchandise. One prize will be awarded per category. 

4. Following the finals in Riyadh, all correct predictions for the GCL of London AND the  GCL season champions will enter a draw to win tickets + hotel to the playoffs in Prague.*

Global Champions Predict the GCL Champions to Win Big (the “Competition”) – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Any individual who enters the Competition by submitting a prediction (as defined below) shall be referred to as a ”Participant” and any prediction submitted in connection with the Competition shall be referred to as a “Prediction”.

1.2 By entering the Competition the Participant shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 The organiser of the Competition is Global Champions Tour BV (“GC”).

1.4 No fee is required to enter into the Competition.

1.5 The language of the Competition is English.

2. Closing Date

2.1 The Competition will open for the submission up to one week ahead of the event and will close 30 (thirty) minutes before the GCL Round 1 class (the “Closing Date”).

2.2 Predictions received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

2.3 Proof of submission of a Prediction is not proof of receipt of a Prediction.

3. Entry details /  submissions

3.1 The Competition is open to all individuals being natural persons, regardless of age, subject to the limitations set out below.

3.2 Participants under the age of 18 must have their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter the Competition.

3.3 All Predictions must be submitted through the dedicated entry form. Predictions which are delivered in any other format will be refused by GC and excluded from the Competition. 

4. Categories

4.1 The Competition consists of the following 4 (four) categories (each a “Category”): 

1. LGCT Grand Prix winner prediction: The Prediction that matches the winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of the event as specified in the entry form.
2. GCL winning team prediction: The Prediction that matches the winning team of the GCL of the event as specified in the entry form.
3. LGCT championship winner prediction: The Prediction that matches the winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2023 season.
4. GCL championship winner prediction:  The Prediction that matches the winning team of the GCL 2023 season.

5. Prizes and judging

5.1 After the Closing Date, a jury composed by representatives of GC (“Jury”) will evaluate the answers and create a shortlist of all correct Predictions from Categories 1 (one) and 2 (two) from all submitted Predictions. The decision of the Jury is final and not subject to appeal. GC may, but shall not be obliged to, publish a list with the shortlisted Predictions and/or Participants. The shortlisted Predictions will be subject to a random draw using a random number generator.

5.2 All shortlisted Participants will take part in a draw to win signed merchandise from the winners from Categories 1 (one) and 2 (two). There are 2 (two) prizes to be won, 1 prize (one) for Category 1 (one) and 1 prize (one) for Category 2 (two). The two (2) winning Participants will be contacted via email with instructions on how to receive their prize. 

5.3 Following the championship final in Riyadh, a jury composed by representatives of GC (“Jury”) will evaluate the answers and create a shortlist of all correct Predictions from all Categories from all submitted Predictions. The decision of the Jury is final and not subject to appeal. GC may, but shall not be obliged to, publish a list with the shortlisted Predictions and/or Participants. The shortlisted Predictions will be subject to a random draw using a random number generator.

5.4 The winning Participant in all Categories will win a free trip to the 2023 Prague Playoffs. The trip includes three (3) nights’ accommodation (including breakfast) in a preselected hotel (one room allocated for the winner and companion) and event tickets for 2 days for the winning Participant and one (1) companion (if the winning Participant is a minor then the companion must be his/her legal guardian). 

5.5 Should the winning Participant, for any reason, not be able to attend the event selected by GC, GC reserves the right to award the prize to another Participant, always to GC’s sole discretion.

5.6 The winning Participants will be contacted shortly after the event is over by email via the email address provided for confirmation of their identity. Furthermore, the winning Participants will be informed of the following steps to be taken with regard to the next phases of the Competition. If there is no answer within 48 hours of the email having been sent, GC reserves the right to declare a new winner for the relevant Category. 

5.7 By participating in the Competition and accepting the prize mentioned in Clause 5.2 respectively 5.4 (the “Prizes”), the winning Participants agree to participate in some activities (i.e. interviews, promotional videos, etc) with GC for content creation purposes related to the Competition and/or the event preselected by GC and which he/she attends. 

5.8 The value of the Prizes cannot be exchanged for any other form of compensation.

6. Participants’ responsibilities

6.1 Each Participant is responsible for informing GC of any changes to the information entered, in particular of any change of the contact details.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 By entering the Competition, all Participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless GC and their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Competition or any Competition-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.

7.2 Neither GC nor partners assumes any responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorised access to Competition entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Neither GC nor partners is responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials related to in this Competition.

8. Personal Data

8.1 Participants agree that personal data, especially names and addresses, may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Competition and any other purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

8.2 The data submitted by the Participant may also be used by GC in order to verify the Participant’s identity, postal address, and telephone number or to otherwise verify the Participant’s eligibility to participate in the Competition. 

9. Right to Cancel or Suspend the Competition

9.1 GC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participants who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition for any reason such as, for example, if for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer viruses, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of GC that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition, 

10. Miscellaneous Conditions

10.1 By entering the Competition, Participants agree: 

(a) To be bound by these Terms and Conditions; 

(b) That the decisions of the Jury are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Competition; 

(c) That GC may use each winning Participant’s name, photograph, likeness, and/or voice in any publicity or advertising relating to the Competition or future promotions without compensation or approval.

10.2 If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be prohibited by law or judged by a court to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall, to the extend required, be severed from these Terms and Conditions and rendered ineffective as far as possible without modifying or affecting the validity or enforcement of the remaining provisions.

10.3 GC may at any time decide to change, cancel, amend, vary, delete, add to and/or otherwise alter the terms and conditions of entry, the prizes and/or any other part of the Competition. GC shall not be required to send a separate notification to each person who has and/or may enter the Competition.

10.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute in relation to these Terms and Conditions shall exclusively be submitted to the competent court Oost-Brabant, the Netherlands.
