Next Stop: Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai

The Longines Global Champions Tour heads to Shanghai for the fourth stage of the 2024 tour from 3 – 5 May. The world's top show jumping will converge on the vibrant city as the Longines Global Champions Tour marks its highly anticipated return to China after a four year break due to Covid-19 restrictions in Shanghai.

Shanghai, known for its rich history and vibrant culture, will serve as the electrifying backdrop for the fourth stage of the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour in a brand new purpose built stadium! The city of Shanghai is a fusion of tradition and modernity on a grand scale. As a global financial center and bustling metropolis, Shanghai's skyline showcases towering skyscrapers alongside historic landmarks. The city's iconic Bund waterfront offers panoramic views of the Huangpu River, while the winding streets of the Old City reveal centuries-old temples and markets. 

Situated in the heart of the city, the newly built Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre, will take center stage as the host of the LGCT Shanghai. This state of the art venue is located in Shanghai’s EXPO Cultural Park and is China’s first permanent professional equestrian venue. The LGCT of Shanghai will bring together the top show jumpers and horses from across the globe, competing for victory in the individual and team competitions. 

The excitement of the competition will surely only be matched by the energy of the city itself, as we celebrate our highly anticipated return to this incredible city.
