The Longines Global Champions Tour returns to Europe with its fourth stage in Madrid, set to take place from May 16 to 18, 2025, at the prestigious Club de Campo Villa de Madrid . This event marks the commencement of the European leg of the tour, following earlier competitions in Doha, Mexico City, and Shanghai.
Madrid's edition is poised to be a highlight of the 2025 season, featuring 15 high-level competitions . The event will showcase elite show jumping talent, including notable riders such as Christian Kukuk, the defending winner of the LGCT Grand Prix of Madrid aboard Checker 47, and home hero Eduardo Álvarez Aznar.
A poignant moment of the event will be the retirement ceremony for Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot, the esteemed equine partner of Eduardo Álvarez Aznar, who has been a significant figure in the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL.
The competition schedule includes a range of CSI1* and CSI5* classes, culminating in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid on Sunday, May 18, at 5:00 PM local time.
