Definition of Media
For the purposes of these T&C's, ‘media’ is defined as professional photographers, videographers, and journalists attending the event to produce editorial content for recognised media outlets, news agencies, equestrian media, or official event partners.
Individuals carrying professional equipment (for example, cameras with detachable lenses or external video rigs) must hold official media accreditation. The use of professional-level equipment by the general public is not permitted.
The LGCT Press & Media Manager reserves the right to determine on-site whether a device or individual falls under 'professional media' and must comply with these guidelines.
Accreditation & Access
All media must be accredited by LGCT in advance. Onsite accreditation will only be granted in exceptional cases and must be approved by the Press & Media Manager.
Media accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable.
Media must display their accreditation badge visibly at all times inside the venue.
Access is only permitted to designated areas: Media Centre, Press Conference Room, Mixed Zone, and designated media zones around the arena.
Access to other areas (warm-up, stables, riders’ tribunes, VIP zones, field of play) is only possible with prior written approval from the LGCT Press & Media Manager.
Arena & Prize Giving
Photographers may only shoot from designated media zones during competition.
No movement is allowed between zones during a round to avoid disturbing horses and riders.
Prize giving ceremonies: LGCT will assign designated spaces for photographers/videographers to capture key moments. Only pre-approved media are permitted inside the arena for prize giving.
Movement during national anthems or when horses are galloping is strictly forbidden.
Warm-up & Stables
Warm-up arena access for photographers/videographers is restricted and requires prior permission. A chaperone may be required.
Longines Global Champions Tour
The stables are strictly closed to all media unless escorted and pre-approved. No unauthorized filming/photography is permitted in stables.
Conduct & Safety
Media must follow all safety instructions provided by LGCT staff, stewards, or arena management.
Professional behavior and respect for riders, grooms, and horses is mandatory at all times.
Flash photography is strictly prohibited during competition or in warm-up.
No standing or equipment placement inside arena boards or in TV camera lines.
Media must not obstruct or interfere with official photographers/videographers, television crews, or Longines sponsor content capture.
Usage of Content
Accredited media may use content (photos, videos, interviews) solely for editorial purposes.
Commercial use of content requires a separate written agreement with LGCT.
Accredited media must not sell, distribute, or give images or video footage to riders, owners, sponsors, brands, or any third parties for private, personal, promotional, or commercial use without prior written agreement from LGCT.
Livestreaming from inside the venue is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from LGCT.
Filming of live rounds or full courses is not permitted for social media or commercial channels without LGCT permission.
Drones
The use of drones is strictly prohibited at all LGCT events unless operated by the official LGCT drone crew with local aviation permissions.
Sanctions
Any media not complying with the rules may have accreditation revoked immediately.
LGCT reserves the right to deny future accreditation to individuals or outlets who violate these rules.
