The Saudi Equestrian and Polo Federation and Global Champions have confirmed that the 2026 Global Champions Playoffs, originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 18 to 21 November, will no longer be held in the Kingdom.
The decision follows recent developments in the region and the related considerations involved in staging the event. Following consultation with its Saudi partners, Global Champions has decided to relocate the Playoffs to Verona, Italy, from 19 to 22 November 2026, allowing the championship season to reach its planned conclusion.
The Saudi Equestrian and Polo Federation and Global Champions expressed their appreciation to all partners and stakeholders involved in preparations for the event in Riyadh. Both organisations look forward to continuing their work together and welcoming more world-class equestrian competitions to Saudi Arabia in the years ahead.
