Denis Lynch

Denis Lynch began his equestrian career with racehorses in Tipperary, Ireland, where his grandfather first taught him to ride. Originally aspiring to become a steeplechase jockey, Denis transitioned to show jumping as he grew too tall for racing - a decision that proved highly successful.

Lynch has built a distinguished international career, competing at the highest levels of elite show jumping. He captured the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha in 2008 and has achieved numerous LGCT podium finishes throughout his career, consistently demonstrating skill and competitiveness on the world stage.

In 2025, Denis Lynch finished 4th in the overall Longines Global Champions Tour standings, showcasing his consistent top-level performances aboard his leading horses Brooklyn Heights, Cordial, and Vistogrand.
