Tips & Tricks with Jane Richard Philips
This week, Jane Richard Philips brings us not one, but three great exercises in Tips & Tricks!
The first uses a series of poles on a circle, and aims to build control, impulsion, balance and confidence in varying directions and on turns. The second involves three small fences, set at angles on a straight line, and helps the rider and horse to work on changing the canter lead between fences, builds suppleness and aids in muscle development. Jane's third useful exercise works with eight cavalettis, set in four sets of two. This final exercise helps with combinations, working on coordination and agility.
