Only 8 of 36 exceptional riders navigated yesterday’s quarter final successfully. What can we expect in today’s field of play? Have team managers changed their tactics? Let’s take a look at the line up...

Never before has the GCL witnessed zero rider substitutions between rounds. What does this say about team management and strategy? The 2018 season has provided team managers with valuable insight into the intricacies of each rider and in their judgement, the rider plays must stay. As for horses, there are five changes at this point in time.

Berlin Eagles own two of the five changes, today we’ll see Christian Kukuk on board the ever exceptional Colestus and Ludger Beerbaum swaps in Cool Feeling. Let’s hope Cool Feeling can bring the heat tonight.

Sticking to their guns, the top four teams from the quarter final, Paris Panthers, Doha Fursan Qatar, Shanghai Swans and Madrid in Motion have changed not a single horse or rider. Another to return for the semi-finals is Danielle Goldstein and Lizziemary of the Montreal Diamonds. Can her fiery feathers lift Lizziemary to a clear round?

As for the GC Prague Playoffs debutants, London Knights have youth on their side as brothers Nicola and Olivier Pilippaerts, and Martin Fuchs, aged 25 and 26 respectively have been entrusted to continue the team’s winning form. We can hope exceptional performances from the team as Nicola rides the exquisite H&M Chilli Willi, Olivier is on-board H&M Legend of Love and Martin will showcase Clooney 51.

Lastly, watch out for star strikers of Valkenswaard United, Marcus Ehning and Comme Il Faut, Bertram Allen and Molly Malone V and Alberto Zorzi with Contanga 3. Each a superstar in their own right, will the team make history here in Prague?
