From 24–27 September 2026, the Longines Global Champions Tour returns to Vienna for four days of world-class show jumping against the magnificent backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace.
As the 2026 championship race intensifies, the world’s leading riders and horses will come together in the Austrian capital for a decisive stage of the season. In the GCL of Vienna, teams will go head-to-head in a thrilling contest of speed, strategy and precision. The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Vienna will then place individual brilliance centre stage, as the sport’s biggest names compete for one of the Tour’s most prestigious titles.
Combining elite equestrian sport with the historic elegance of one of Vienna’s most iconic landmarks, the event promises exhilarating competition, an exceptional atmosphere and an unforgettable experience for spectators. Join us at Schönbrunn Palace as Vienna becomes the centre of the international show jumping world.
New for 2026, the event expands from three to four days and welcomes international CDI4* dressage to Schönbrunn Palace for the first time. The programme will also begin with an exclusive performance by the world-famous Spanish Riding School on Thursday, while an expanded GC Village, additional grandstand seating and activities for younger visitors will offer even more to experience throughout the weekend.

How to get there
We strongly recommend travelling by public transport. Schönbrunn Palace can be reached via the U4 underground line to Schönbrunn, tram lines 10 and 60 to Schloss Schönbrunn, or bus 10A to Schloss Schönbrunn.
The nearest paid car park is located opposite the palace at Schönbrunner Schlossstraße 50, 1130 Vienna.
